About Selous

Selous (now known as Nyerere National Park) is one of the largest protected areas in Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in southern Tanzania, it offers a truly remote and exclusive safari experience far from the well-trodden northern circuit.

Famous for its boat safaris on the Rufiji River, walking safaris, and exceptional populations of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and the endangered African wild dog. Fewer tourists mean a more intimate and authentic wildlife encounter.
