About Tarangire

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania's hidden gems — a vast wilderness of ancient baobab trees, swaying grasslands, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During the dry season, this river becomes a magnet for one of the largest elephant concentrations in Africa, with herds numbering in the hundreds.

Less visited than the Serengeti, Tarangire offers an intimate and authentic safari experience. Tree-climbing lions, over 500 bird species, and dramatic landscapes dotted with centuries-old baobabs make this park truly unforgettable.
